Pastor Kirk serves as Calvary's Lead Pastor and has been in ministry for over 30 years. When he's not behind the pulpit, you can find him long-distance running, biking, or on a walk with his wife, Deb and their two dogs. They have some pretty cute grandkids as well - ask for a picture and Kirk will show you a few!
Kirk is quick with a joke or a pun, and he moves about a mile a minute. There are few things he loves more than visiting and hearing the uniqueness of people's stories. He has a fierce love of the Holy Spirit and the amazing way it moves in and around all of us.
"After much prayer and conversation, I have come to believe that God has sent me to serve as Calvary’s lead pastor. In that exact same way, I believe every single member (and visitor) here is called by our living God to serve God’s whole creation. Join us!"
Pastor Ivy is Calvary's newest called pastor. She has many years of ministry experience with roots in youth ministry. When she is not preaching or working on ways to "be the church" in the world, you will likely find her with her awesome family. She might be riding her Harley with her husband Dale, spending time with any number of her three hilarious daughters, or playing with her cute puppy Millie.
Pastor Ivy has an incredible gift for seeing where the church and the community can come together for the good of the world. She is a great partner in brainstorming and loves to help people put ideas into action.
"From the moment I walked into Calvary I felt at home. I am excited to continually discover where Calvary’s gifts meet the needs of the community as we live out our mission statement together. We are called by God, centered in grace; and always looking for new ways to serve and ignite people for Christ. We are resurrection people, participating in what God is bringing new life to daily. I love serving alongside the beautiful people of Calvary!"
Aaron Bye is serving as Calvary's Intern Pastor while also attending Luther Seminary on the path towards ordination. He has many years of ministry experience and served at Calvary as the Youth Ministry Coordinator before beginning his new journey. Aaron has a an amazing gift for finding God's story in every day life - books and movies too!
Aaron is a lover of "Dad Jokes," podcasts and a good musical. When he's not reading, doing school work, or preaching, you can find him spending time with his wife, Nichole (who also serves on staff at Calvary.)
GOD'S HANDS AND FEET
"I am so excited for the opportunity to be at Calvary as your intern pastor. I am very grateful for this chance to learn and grow right along side you all, as we work together being God’s hands and feet in our world."
