A mentor is someone who teaches or gives help and advice to a less experienced and often younger person. In an work or school setting, a mentor influences the professional or educational growth of their mentee. We thought, faith can be fostered like that too!

At Calvary, we believe God often finds us through relationships. When a student decides to do a mentor year, the church supports them by providing some space and opportunity to learn and grow with a trusted person of their choice. 

Students select someone in their life who they feel comfortable discussing their faith with. It can be a teacher, coach, family friend, or anyone they feel they could open up with to practice talking about faith. We encourage students to select someone outside of their immediate family.

Our beliefs are based on the Bible and the teachings of Jesus Christ. We believe in the Trinity, salvation through faith in Jesus, and the importance of living a life of love and service. Click below to learn more about our beliefs.
